ISU Homecoming, 2013: Photo-essay

Homecoming is over and so is the school spirit bearded hype that came along with it. Parades, dances, football games; none can overshadow the famous ISU Homecoming event, ‘The Walk’. Unlike other homecoming events, ‘The Walk’ is open to the public (if over 21 years of age) and very much embraced by the city of Terre Haute. Starting as early as 6AM, streets close and bar doors open as participants start their walk from east Wabash to ISU Memorial Stadium, descending into less and less coordinated steps as they go. Being eager to cover the biggest event in ISU Homecoming, (Sara Noe of) the Sardonic Spectator grabbed a camera and joined the crowd as they staggered from bar to bar towards the football game. We wanted to share with you what we saw in a series we call “ISU Homecoming 2013: The Good, the Bad & the Pitiful.”To view slideshow, please, click view PicLens link.
